Of course not every smoothie is suitable for everyone. So I thought: Why not make a smoothie recipe for our lactose intolerant friends? A fruit smoothie without yogurt!
Yeah I know what you think: “There are enough yogurts without lactose, why should I make my fruit smoothie without yogurt?”
Well, why not? Yogurt is not a must, when you want to enjoy a healthy smoothie. If you’re worried about the consistency, just add natural peanut butter and bananas to your smoothie and violà: a creamy smoothie.
Let’s see how to make a fruit smoothie without yogurt. It’s easy, just follow my instructions:
Strawberry Smoothie without Yogurt
Strawberries are not only sweet, they are full of fiber, potassium, vitamin C and antioxidants. They help you to lose weight, feel healthier and even prevent diseases like cancer and heart failure and strep throat. Strawberries are a great ingredient for our first fruits smoothie without yogurt.
Take 1 ½ cup ripe strawberries. Wash them and cut the stems off. Put them into your blender. Now take a banana, slice it and throw it into the blender. Pour 1 cup coconut milk into the blender and 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter.
If your strawberries aren’t frozen, just add 1 cup ice cubes into the blender. Blend the ingredients together until you are happy with the consistency. Last Step: Pour it into a glass and enjoy it.
Mango Smoothie without Yogurt
Whether it’s cold in your country or fricking hot. A mango smoothie is ideal to cool you down or send your mind to a tropical island. Furthermore mangos are great for a healthy immune system and normal blood pressure. Now let’s make a mango smoothie without yogurt.
Slice a fresh mango and a half banana. Add them into the blender and put 1 cup coconut milk into it. Additionally you can add a teaspoon honey into the blender, if you like it sweet. Now throw some ice cups in, blend it all together and enjoy it!
Blueberry Smoothie without Yogurt
Blueberries are so called “superfruits”, because they have extraordinary properties. They help against aging, age-related mental decline and cancer. Some people can eat them right away, but other people prefer a blueberry smoothie without yogurt.
Take 1 cup blueberries, wash them and put them into a blender with a cup soy milk or coconut milk. Add one teaspoon honey to boost the taste and add some ice. My personal recommendation: Add chia seeds into the fruits smoothie without yogurt.
Chia seeds contain various nutrients, like fiber, omega-3 fatty acids and many more. Now add a half banana and 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter into the fruits smoothie. Blend it all together and serve it in a glass with small berries as decoration.

But wait there is more! Banana smoothies contain antioxidants, which help to prevent numerous disease like cancer and degenerative diseases. There are even some studies which show that banana smoothies improve insulin sensitivity, therefore helping to prevent diabetes.
Add 1 banana, 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter and 1 cup almond milk into the blender. Mix everything together and enjoy your banana smoothie without yogurt.
