Arbonne vs Shakeology Reviews
A highly controversial meal replacement shake with a lot of fat and sugar, but also a lot of vitamins and proteins, and the most popular weight loss supplement in the USA with a high price. We took a close look in our Arbonne vs Shakeology Review and summarized both shakes for you.
You will be surprised about what we discovered, but first let’s take a look at the ingredients of the shakes.
What ingredients do the shakes contain?
Both shakes have a low amount of calories, but Shakeology is slightly better than Arbonne Protein Shake. With only 140 calories it beats Arbonne, which offers 160 calories per serving.
Not a big difference, but still interesting.
Both shakes contain about 9g of sugar per portion. That’s pretty high for a weight loss shake, but Arbonne Protein Shake has 3g fat, whereas Shakeology only contains 1g fat per serving.
All in all this round goes to Shakeology, but before you choose a winner, let’s see how much proteins the supplements offer.
How much protein can I expect?
Arbonne Protein Shake is the clear winner regarding Proteins. One portion offers 20g proteins, that’s much more than other meal replacement substitutes do.
Shakeology offers around 17g, which is not bad, but not as good as Arbonne.
Nevertheless you should know that protein doesn’t equal protein. There are different kinds of proteins with different health beneficial effects.
Let’s take Arbonne as an example: It contains pea protein, cranberry protein powder and rice protein. Pea protein is a vegan protein source and offers essential amino acids, that are beneficial for everyone who wants to lose weight.
Cranberry and rice protein are full of vital fats like omega-3 and omega-6. Furthermore both proteins help you to improve your workout performance and repair muscles.
Now let’s see what proteins Shakeology has. It contains pea protein and whey protein. Whey Protein is commonly used by athletes and in some other weight loss shakes.
All in all, both shakes offer a great amount of proteins, but there is another important ingredient…
How much fiber do the supplement contain?
At this point both shakes disappointed us. Shakeology and Arbonne contain less then 10g of fiber per serving. That’s pretty low for meal replacement shakes.
Shakeology contains 4g, whereby Arbonne offers 2g. At least Arbonne Protein Shake uses Inulin as fiber source. Inulin has the benefit of improving your gut bacteria and going through your metabolism without providing calories.
After the fiber fiasco you might be skeptical, if both shakes are really that good as many customers claim. The next point might change your doubts…
How much vitamins do the shakes offer?
Both substitutes offer more than 20 vitamins, including all essential ones. However, there is a reason why Shakeology is so expensive… Shakeology contains more than 50 different herbs, probiotics, extracts and superfoods.
The list is so long that we made a own post for all shakeology ingredients. Check it out!
Arbonne Protein Shake has “only” 23 minerals and vitamins. That isn’t bad either!

How long do the shakes curb my hunger?
Both shakes contain a healthy amount of calories and proteins. Unfortunately they both lack fiber, but nevertheless most people are satisfied for 3-4 hours after after consuming either one of the shakes.
You can easily increase the fiber content with a half apple, a half banana or a few berries. Fruits contain almost no calories and are great for curbing hunger.
Just mix a handful of fruits into Shakeology or Arbonne and you will be satisfied up to 6 hours. Not bad…
Are both shakes vegan, GMO- and gluten-free?
The company behind Shakeology claims to sell a gluten-free and GMO-free shake, but doesn’t offer certifications for prove. At least Shakeology is vegan.
The Arbonne Protein Shake wins this round. Arbonne is vegan and gluten-free certified. Unfortunately it also lacks a GMO-free certificate.

How much do I have to pay?
Well… this is the weakest aspect of Shakeology. The price… One package costs around $129,99, that’s more than $4 per serving. If you compare it with Arbonne Protein Shake you will discover that one serving of Arbonne costs around $2,30 and a bag around $70.
