Everyone knows them and everyone hates them. Yes, you know what I am talking about: Blackheads. Almost all people get them at some point in their life, mostly during their teenager years.
Blackheads occur when your skin excretes oil which blocks your pores and turn black when it‘s exposed to oxygen. There are countless great guides out there which explain exactly the procedure of removing blackheads.
Here is my personal step by step program:
Step 1 – Open Your Pores
The best time to remove blackheads is while your pores are open. This usually occurs when it‘s hot, so heat up your skin by taking a bath or a shower. You should spend at least 10 minutes in the hot water before you remove your blackheads.
You can also use a hot compress to open the pores in your skin.
Step 2 – Use Blackhead Removal Strips
Get a blackhead removal strip and apply it to your face while your pores are still open. You should keep the strips for at least 10 to 15 minutes so that they bond with the skin. Now pull the blackhead removal strips off and check the result.
Some people will experience a great difference, while others won‘t remove any blackheads. Don‘t get frustrated and read on.
Step 3 – Try it With Your Fingers
Apply the compress again for 10 minutes and gently squeeze your skin with your fingers after removing the compress. Do NOT use the your nails, this could damage your skin and lead to the opposite effect.
From my own experience I can say that this method works pretty good for the big ones, but there are still some other blackheads that we can‘t remove with this technique. Read on to learn more about removing blackheads easily.
Step 4 – Salicylic Acid
Yes, you have to buy salicylic acid liquid, but it‘s worth it! Paste it onto your skin and use another hot compress after applying the liquid. Then squeeze the blackheads with your fingers out.
This method works pretty good, but sometimes you have to go further. Here are some home remedies to remove blackheads effectively:
Egg White with Honey
Use the egg white of one egg and one teaspoon honey. Mix it together and apply it onto your skin. Wait until it‘s dry and wash it off with warm water.
Doesn‘t only help against blackheads, but also makes your skin glow and therefore look more healthy.
Cinnamon with Lemon Juice
Lemon juice is antibacterial and therefore an awesome, natural treatment for blackheads and acne. Cinnamon support blood circulation and therefore keeps your skin vital.
Just take one tablespoon cinnamon powder and one tablespoon lemon juice. Mix it together and apply it onto your skin. Leave it there for about 20 minutes and then peel it off.
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is useful not only extremely popular in scar healing products, but also as skin smoother. It cleanses your pores and helps you get rid of annoying blackheads and other skin issues like acne.
