    “You are what you eat.”—Not to be taken literally, though it’s a mantra that is certainly worth listening to. What you eat effects the way that you look, your weight, how well your brain functions, your energy levels, and in this case, the quality of your skin.

If you simply add a large handful of sunflower seeds to your daily diet (which is next to nothing in terms of calorie intake), you’ll be working wonders for your skin—in addition to your muscles, nerves, and cholesterol levels. 

    The best and easiest way to consume them, is by simply adding a few seeds to your cereal or yoghurt in the morning so that you can enjoy the benefits without having to sit and peel your way through hundreds of individual seeds. Rise and shine!

    It seems to be that you either love or hate tuna, which is a shame for those that don’t because it is an amazing food to eat. Tuna contains selenium, which preserves the protein elastin, and aids in keeping the skin smooth and tight. The antioxidants found in tuna are also great for preventing damage to your skin cells from excessive UV exposure. Try as they might, some people just can’t get on with tuna. However, another great fish to try is salmon which is rich in omega oils. If you can’t get on board with tuna, at the very least you should try some salmon from time to time!
