When you want to lose weight, and you want to do it quickly, products that will kill your appetite are the best choice.
But, if you decide to do this, you’ll want to be certain that you’re using the very best product available, and that you’re getting the most for your money.
That’s why I chose to compare these two very popular products, from two famous health and fitness companies.
Losing weight has never been simpler, and at the same time, more difficult than it is now. With oh so many different products at our disposal, we easily get confused.
There are weight loss supplements, pills, patches, shakes, and serums, not to mention innumerable diets and training programs.
Somehow, in that entire mess, two companies are managing to stay popular. Isagenix and Herbalife. Both of these companies have their own meal replacement shakes that are highly popular, so I chose to put them in a “death match” and to find out once and for all which one is better.

IsaLean Shake by Isagenix
This product is 100% whey protein based, which means that it will make you feel full, while at the same time providing your body with the material necessary for muscle building and recovery.
IsaLean is also full of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that will boost your energy levels.
Formula 1 by Herbalife
Herbalife is basing this product on soy protein, which is a huge plus for those who have allergies to animal products.
Rich in vitamins and minerals, and still very effective at diminishing your appetite, giving everything necessary for muscle building, and rising energy levels, Formula 1 does not fall behind Isagenix for now.

Appetite Killing Isagenix VS Herbalife
I don’t know if these will work the same for you, but I tried to use both as meal replacements, and here are the results.
IsaLean Shake – uses chromium and 8 grams of fiber to block hunger. It works pretty well, I felt for a few hours, but not as full as I have with some other shakes. I had to take a light snack between meals. So, from my experience, it can keep you full for about 2-3 hours.
Formula 1 – 3-4 grams of fiber should block hunger. I have to say that it isn’t enough to keep me full. It served more as a snack than as a meal. But, if you mix in some fruit, it can be pretty filling.
Nutrition Isagenix VS Herbalife
I don’t mean nutrition as ingredients on their own, but when into consideration how it affects weight as a meal replacement since the main goal is to lose weight.
IsaLean Shake – The balance of vitamins and minerals is perfect, but, there might be too much protein. 24 grams is excessive if you’re not working out, so you might want to add some physical activity. Also, at 11 grams of sugar per serving, it’s a bit above my preference.
Formula 1 – It contains only 25% of your recommended daily intake of vitamins and minerals, which isn’t so great. It has 9 grams of protein, and 9 grams of sugar –one is a bit low, while the other is a bit high. So, it’s not bad, but it isn’t as good as some of the other shakes that I had a chance to review.
Taste and Flavors Isagenix VS Herbalife
IsaLean Shake – flavors available: creamy French vanilla, kosher natural creamy vanilla, creamy Dutch chocolate, black sesame. I got the Creamy French Vanilla, and I love the taste. With a higher sugar amount, it is just tasty enough, not chunky, and it leaves just a bit of that nasty protein aftertaste.
Formula 1 – flavors available: wild berry, cookies and cream, café latte, pina colada, dulce de leche, orange cream, allergen-free vanilla, kosher vanilla, mint chocolate, and French vanilla. Here I chose French Vanilla, and it was a disappointing experience. It is more of a milk flavoring packet than a shake, and there isn’t enough sugar to make the taste good.

Value Isagenix VS Herbalife
IsaLean Shake – a tub that contains 14 servings has 840 grams, and it costs $57.49 on Amazon. This means that you’re paying $4.1 per shake, which is admittedly a bit steep for my taste.
Formula 1 – a tub that contains 30 servings has 750 grams, and it costs $40.88 on Amazon. This means that you’re paying $1.36 per shake, which is extremely good value!
The Verdict Is In
In the battle of Isagenix VS Herbalife, I can’t say who the winner is. Isagenix tastes better, it kept me full for longer, but it demands serious workout sessions, while Herbalife does taste worse, but it offers a better price per serving, it has less sugar, and it doesn’t demand heavy exercise.
So, in the end, it all depends on you. Your desires, expectation, and budget.
Hope I helped you to make a decision!
